Returns & Cancellations

About shopping on Among Makers

If you need to cancel, contact the seller as soon as possible. If the order hasn’t shipped yet, they may be able to cancel it. Once an item has shipped, cancellations are treated as returns.

Yes! You have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind.

This doesn’t apply to items that are made just for you, like customised products or made-to-order pieces in your chosen size, colour, or material.

We cannot accept returns on perishable goods, such as food and drink, as these items are made to be enjoyed in the moment.

For larger or delicate pieces (like framed art or furniture), returns are handled case by case. When a piece of furniture or art piece is made-to-order we can’t accept returns.

If you need to send an item back, please reach out to the seller within 14 days of receiving your order. As each seller handles their own returns, all items should be unused and kept in their original condition and packaging. Please note that return postage costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

If the seller has agreed on a return, please make sure the product is sent back in its original packaging.

Fragile items including glassware, ceramics, rolled artwork and other delicate paper pieces must be repackaged the same way as they arrived. Many of these creations are one of a kind, and their protective packaging is designed to keep them safe. Please make sure you package the item securely for its return journey, as you are responsible for ensuring it arrives back in perfect condition.

All returned items must be unused, unworn, and in perfect condition so that our small-scale makers can resell them.

Because consumables such as soaps, hand creams and other body care pieces are meant for personal use, they can only be returned if they’re in their original condition - unopened, unused and with all seals and safety packaging undisturbed.

Important: If you are returning items from more than one seller, each return needs to be requested separately and sent to the correct seller’s address.

To make a return, contact the maker within 14 days of delivery. Each seller manages their own returns, and items must be unused, in original condition and packaging. Return shipping is always covered by the buyer. You can contact the maker directly through the contact button on their shop page.

Sadly, no. These pieces are created especially for you and can’t be returned. Always double-check the product title and description; custom items are clearly marked.

If you wish to return an item, the product must reach the seller within 28 days from the day you received it and meet the seller’s return conditions. When sending the return, please include your order number, name, and address inside the parcel so the seller can quickly identify and process your return. 

If you are unsure which return address to use, you are always welcome to contact the Among Makers team at info@amongmakers.co, and we will guide you to the correct seller.

Once the maker has received the returned product and approved the return, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days. After the refund is processed, please allow up to seven days for it to show in your account or on your statement.

Oh no! That’s not the unboxing moment we hoped for.

If your package looks damaged when it arrives, please refuse to accept the parcel and ask the service point to register it as damaged in transit.  

If the damage only shows once you have accepted and opened the package, please reach out to the seller as soon as possible and include your order number together with clear photos of the outer packaging, shipping label, inner packaging, and the damaged item. It’s important to keep all packaging materials, as the shipping provider may need them for inspection.

To ensure a fair assessment, the item should not be used, repaired, returned, or discarded before the seller has reviewed the case and guided you on the next steps. If it is determined that the packaging was not sufficient, the seller will cover the cost of both the item and the shipping.

Once the Seller approves the refund, Among Makers will process it through Stripe.
