Who Can Apply

Among Makers welcomes designers, makers, and small creative businesses based in Sweden. We curate thoughtful, small-scale production – not mass-produced goods.

Nordics expansion: We plan to open applications for creators in Denmark, Finland, and Norway soon. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified.

What We Don’t Accept

• Resellers.
• No vintage items (upcycling is allowed).
• Fine art and gallery pieces – we focus on design-led, small-scale production.

We do welcome prints, illustrations and decorative arts.

What We’re Looking For

We celebrate creators who bring a fresh perspective to craft. Whether you rework traditional techniques or experiment with new materials, we welcome products with personality and purpose.

Qualities We Value

These are the qualities that help products shine on Among Makers. Your item doesn’t need to embody all of them:

• Uniqueness: A product with its own form, story, or character.
• Function & Purpose: Designed with care and made for real use.
• Joy & Emotion: Evokes warmth, inspiration, or beauty.
• Craftsmanship: Handmade, genuine, and carefully created.
• Timelessness: Meant to be loved for years.
• Ethical Production: Respect for people, animals, and the environment.

For our food & drinks category we look for quality, uniqueness, and items that make great gifts. We don’t accept products that require refrigeration.

Let Your Craft Speak

Your products carry stories of time, care, and creativity. Good photography helps those stories reach the people who are meant to find them. Focus on lighting, simple compositions and honest presentation. Show your items from different angles, include a sense of scale, and capture the small details that make it yours.

We recommend 5–8 images per item, a blend of clean product shots (not cut-outs on white) and warm lifestyle photos. Together, they will help people imagine your creation in their everyday life and why it might become something they treasure. Read our Product Photography Guide

How It Works

• Commission: A 25% commission + VAT applies to each sale, helping us maintain and promote the platform.
• Orders: Please ship within 1–4 days of purchase or let the customer know if there’s a delay.
• Flexibility: You can pause or cancel your Among Makers membership at any time. Just note that it might take up to 15 days for your shop to close and all existing orders must still be fulfilled.
